Cape Coral Real Estate Company, Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group, participated in the first ever statewide Florida Open House Weekend, April 10 and 11, 2010, with 20 open houses. Each participating open house was indicated by Open House signs, and blue balloons featuring the REALTOR® logo. The Florida Open House Weekend was sponsored by more than 115,000 Florida Realtors covering areas from the Panhandle to Key West.

The Open House Weekend took place two weeks before the April 30, 2010 deadline for the Federal home buyer tax credit, for which home buyers can receive a tax credit of up to $8,000.

Says Diane VanArsdale, Director of Marketing and Sales for Team Aubuchon, “This was perfect timing to have this event because motivated sellers are reducing the price of their homes, our northern visitors are here looking for deals, the tax credit is still available, and interest rates are reasonable. Open Houses offer customers the opportunity to see what’s on the market, how much house they can afford, get design ideas, and talk in person with an expert in the field with no pressure. Our real estate agents are here to answer questions and help potential home buyers find the perfect home.”
