Jackie Burgess has been in the real estate industry for more than 20 years. Her father was a builder and developer in Idaho where she was born and raised. After she married, Jackie and her husband moved to Minnesota in 1985 where she obtained her license in real estate.

After raising her 2 children, she returned to real estate full time and pursued her Broker’s license. She purchased her own company where she recruited and trained new agents and eventually began specializing in short-sales since she found the majority of her clients where coming to her, after being turned down by other real estate companies. She seized this as an opportunity to help others fulfill their dreams.

She obtained her Broker’s license in Florida also, and managed her time between Minnesota and Florida. After residing in Florida for a year, she made the decision to begin focusing on the Florida market full time and turn the Minnesota office over to her agents. “It became harder and harder to leave Florida and return to Minnesota”. Since she loved Florida, and specifically Cape Coral, she decided to put her energy into selling real estate in, what she considers the perfect place to live. Jackie believes becoming a Realtor has been one of the most rewarding jobs she has ever experienced: “ I am passionate about my job and assisting my clients, so being able to do that in such a great place like Southwest Florida - I consider this the best job in the world.”
